Wait List Details

Thank you for your interest in our Golden Retriever puppies!! 

A wait list per dam will be opened for each litter once pregnancy is confirmed (typically a month after breeding).  We will announce (via our newsletter and Facebook) and allow a limited number of applications for each wait list.  Once enough applications are received, new applications will cease.  Received applications will be evaluated by us (Terri and Bryan), interviews will likely take place for the finalists and then once deposits are received from selected applicants, assigned to the wait list in pick order. 

• Texas TLC Goldens reserves the right of first pick(s) from all litters; this is standard practice in the industry.
• The order of the wait list is the order that selected applicants get to pick out their puppy.
  • We are happy to give our opinions on temperament and health of the puppies but the choice is yours from available puppies the day you pick up and purchase your puppy.
• You may not give extra money to get on the list or get an earlier pick.
• All decisions for which applicant is put on the wait list are decided by Terri and Bryan and are final so we recommend being very thorough when filling out the application.  Selected applicants will be notified and placed on the list once deposits are received.  Applicants who are not selected will not be contacted directly but we will announce when the wait lists are full and applicants not selected will be retained as alternates.
  • The deposit is $300 and is non-refundable unless we are unable to provide the gender puppy requested.  the deposit will of course be deducted from the final invoice.
  • Sorry but Terri and Bryan will not discuss WHY decisions were made and all decisions are final.  We are aware that this process can be very emotional for some and getting into explanations is a no-win situation; for everyone.  Typically most all applications we receive are very good and the decisions are difficult; often VERY difficult so please understand that not being selected is NOT an insult.
