All of our puppies will come with a “Puppy Guarantee”. All our breeding animals are healthy, happy and have already been cleared of all the common genetic defects that can adversely affect a golden Retriever. the puppies will be loved, handled, well fed, cared for and wormed repeatedly during the time we have them. - Term of guarantee – Until the end of the puppy’s 26th month of age
- The guarantee outlines possible ways to receive a replacement puppy from a future litter.
- Under no circumstances will money be paid for any reason to honor this guarantee
- All guarantee claims must be documented and verified by a licensed veterinarian
- Covered
- Congenital or hereditary defect that critically effects the quality or length of life or leads to early death of the puppy.
- Severe hip and joint issues which hamper the movement of the puppy/dog and natural
gait, requiring surgery to correct.- See puppy contract for specifics but we made the term for this guarantee 26 months to give the buyer time to get their puppy tested if hip problems are suspected. OFA evaluation for hip displaysia can only happen after 24 months of age.
- Kidney, heart, spine, and liver problems of a severe life threatening, or altering nature.
- Autoimmune hemolytic anemia and muscular dystrophy.
- Examples of some things not covered (most are preventable or treatable)
- Ectropion, Entropion, or Glaucoma
- HOD or Wobblers
- Bloat
- Allergies
- Hypothyroid or hyperthyroid
- Umbilical or Abdominal hernias
- Internal & External parasites
- Parvo, Distemper, Adenovirus, and Corona Virus
- Cryptorchidism
- Final size, coat type, ear set, bite, temperament or trainability of the puppy/dog.
- “Innocent” heart murmur
- Any physical problem, which is, or could be, the result of injury. TXTLC will not be
responsible for injuries or infections to the puppy/dog sustained from accidents, trauma,
or neglect incurred after the purchase date.
